A good time was had by all at the 2012 Pinball Bash. Twenty-five contestants competed over the course of the evening to win the 14 trophies that were handed out by Miss Pinball International at the end of the night. Conversation and beer flowed freely as competitors played and mingled throughout the event.
Kevin, Dan, Dominic, Big Dan, and John each took home a trophy. Kenny, Josh and Shawn doubled their luck by taking home two pieces of hardware. But the big winner was Tom Y., who won the MVP award as he collected three trophies on the night. After a tough rookie Bash back in 2010, Tom is quickly turning into the guy to beat.
Steve again proved his worth by keeping the bells and chimes ringing all night. Target Alpha and Flash were both down for only minutes as Steve got them back up and running without missing a beat. His company, FUNTEK (509-990-3773) offers great service, is reasonably priced, and comes highly recommended by everyone in town. Yeah Steve! And a great job on the photos and cookies!
Another big thank you to Scott for keeping the Northern Lights Pale Ale flowing. I think some of the contestants enjoy the beer as much as the pinball.
We had 5 rookies this year and one actually won a trophy. A big thank you to Miss Pinball for fitting us into her busy schedule. She's no slouch on the machines either as she had the second highest score of the night on Black Knight!
Thank you to all the competitors for another successful Bash. I can't wait until Pinball Bash VII next year! Now that the party is over, I'm going to play some pins and relax! -T
We are extremely excited to have Miss Pinball International at this years’ Bash. Taylor is actually from this area and has spent the last few years modeling throughout Europe and the fashion capitals of the world. You may recognize her face from countless magazine covers and international advertising campaigns. She is just starting her yearlong reign as the first lady of pinball.
